Welcome to Faith Formation at Saint Boniface! We are excited to be part of your family’s faith journey.
Class Information:
Classes are held during the school year on Sundays from 9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. We offer classes for students from pre-kindergarten through Confirmation (9th grade), as well as the post-Confirmation Partners in Faith program.
We will begin the 2025-2026 year with a parent/student Open House on Sunday, August 24, 2025. The first class will take place on Sunday, September 7, 2025. The final class of the year will be on Sunday, May 3, 2026. Holiday breaks will coincide with the schedule for the Effingham County Schools.

Sacrament Preparation:
At Saint Boniface, students must complete two consecutive years of Faith Formation classes before receiving First Reconciliation/First Holy Communion or Confirmation.
Confirmation:
Faith Formation students begin preparing for Confirmation in seventh grade. Confirmation takes place in the fall of ninth grade.
There will be a mandatory meeting for all students/parents in grades 7-9 on Sunday, September 7 during the regular class time (9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.), during which we will review the requirements for each grade.
First Reconciliation/First Holy Communion:
There will be a mandatory meeting on Sunday, January 11 for parents/students in grades 1 and 2, as well as any other students preparing for First Reconciliation/First Holy Communion. This meeting will take place in the parish hall during the regular class time.
The First Holy Communion Retreat/First Reconciliation will take place on Saturday, March 14 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. First Holy Communion will be on Saturday, April 18 at the 5 p.m. Mass.
